Our single mission at The Drug Store is providing friendly and professional prescription service to meet your health care needs. At our store you will find a hometown atmosphere and be treated like a neighbor. Our pharmacists, Mike Tootle and Chad Hethcox, truly care about your health and are eager to answer your prescription and healthcare questions. Both Mike and Chad are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and they are dedicated to loving God and loving people. Their company corporate name is His Care, and they are committed to working through Him for your best possible care.

Mike Tootle, R.Ph. (owner)
Mike Tootle graduated from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 1977, and is married to Michelle Tootle. They have two married daughters, Dr. Leslie Tucker who is also a University of Georgia Pharmacy graduate working at Evans Memorial Hospital, and Lauren Bluestein who is a graduate of North Greenville College teaching K-5 at Claxton Elementary School. Mike and Michelle are also very proud of their sons-in-law, Matt Tucker and Eric Bluestein. Matt is employed by Southern Medical Group in Glennville, Georgia, and Eric is a high school teacher and basketball coach at Claxton High School. Michelle works at Eastside Baptist Church directing the children’s ministry and the children and adult choirs.

Chad Hethcox, R.Ph. (owner)
Chad Hethcox graduated from The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy in 1992 and is married to Angel Hethcox. Chad and Angel are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Julia. Sarah is in the seventh grade at Pinewood Christian Academy and is an avid reader and honor roll student. Julia, who is in K-4 at Pinewood, truly believes life is magical and that she is a fairy princess. Angel is the manager and buyer for the gift department located in The Drug Store.
